We’re busy at our suburban house preparing for a closing of its sale in about a week. So much to do!
We take time to grieve about what we will miss from our life in the suburbs, the relationships with dear friends, proximity to stores and restaurants, robust Internet service, travel, our church, and the joy of freely giving to charity. We also talk about what we will miss least, like having a heat pump blow on us, all the trees interfering with full sun for growing, disorganized tool storage, and all the driving, both around town and back and forth between the suburbs and the farm.
