It’s hot, it’s humid, and the air conditioners are working overtime all over America. And that means power bills are jumping up into a higher level of punishment. That makes it a good time to talk about the simple strategies we use at Longleaf Breeze to keep our electric bills under control.
We’ve been surprised at how little difference some of the most-discussed strategies make. Things like avoiding incandescent bulbs, turning off lights when not in use, and removing “wall warts” certainly help, but if you’re serious about saving on your electric bill, you should look at that heat pump and the electric dryer.
