All it took was one night of 31 degree temperatures to lay waste to most of our summer veg.
The tomatoes, zucchini, all the squash, the basil, even the pumpkins are shut down. Some of the survivors surprised us: the okra is still hangin’ in there, as is the sunn hemp. Also: sweet potato harvest and liming the soil.
